Galway girls and boys for a week

We’ve been to Galway for one week,
all we did was speak.

First we were a bit afraid,
but the host families were great.

We were very friendly and shook a lot of hands,
so the teachers at school became our new friends.

At the Irish dance on the first day we moved our hips,
because of that we had to eat a lot of chips.

On the second day we spent all day at school,
but it was actually very cool.

The other day it rained heavily, what a pity,
but our nice tour guides showed us the city.

The next day we were at the 1.50 € shop,
this was our favourite stop.

At the aquarium we saw a lot of fish,
some of us were lucky we didn’t have them as a dish.

At the Greyhound Race some of us lost money,
but it was still very funny.

On the Aran Islands we rode the bike,
but not because of the bus strike.
This day was also Lennart’s birthday, which was great,
but sadly there was no cake.

On the last day of our stay we went to the Cliffs of Moher,
which are not in the middle of nowhere.

The week was very tough,
but we really learned a lot of stuff.
