Chinese Teachers on the Tracks of Prince Eugene of SavoyOn 26th October, the Austrian National Holiday, 20 Chinese teachers of Tourism Management, who are currently attending an eight-week seminar at the Tourism College MODUL, strolled on the tracks of Austrian history. One of the most brilliant figures of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy was definitely Field Marshall Prince Eugene of Savoy (1663 – 1736) who had splendid Baroque palaces built in the East of Austria. Our guests visited one of the Baroque jewels in Marchfeld, Schlosshof Palace. The light drizzle could not cast a cloud over the good mood and cheerful spirit of the Chinese teachers. During the eight weeks at MODUL our guests learn about modern teaching methods, efficient school organization; they are updated on latest trends and developments in tourism management and they can savour genuine Viennese hospitality. |
