The Beijing Business School – on the Road to Success

It is the 28th November 2009, 11:30h. The first of 400 guests are arriving at the Beijing Business School (BBS) to celebrate its 45th anniversary. Among the guests are current and former teachers, representatives of local authorities, party officials and reporters from local TV channels.

All preparatory work is now completed, and the guests can savour the 1,600 petits fours that have been prepared by the students of the MODUL Hospitality and Tourism Department. The cooking classes of the week have only been dedicated to cater to this festive celebration.

After this successful event the BBS is granted further financial support by the City of Beijing. With these funds the BBS is going to build a seminar hotel on its campus. This will be another milestone in the thriving development of the MODUL school in Beijing.

All graduates of the first MODUL course that ended last year have found interesting jobs in top hotels, like Swissotel and Grand Millennium, as well as in operations at Beijing’s “Kärntner Street”, the Wang Fu Jing.
