TEACHER TRAINING A LA MODUL

The reputation of MODUL has spread to the Far East. Cutting out competitors in Europe and the USA, MODUL has been selected by the Chinese Ministry of Education to organise intensive seminars of further education to Chinese teachers of hotel and tourism management.

Three six-week seminars have already been successfully run by the Service Platform MODUL, and 7 further seminars are planned for the next 4 years. MODUL teachers and experts from the industry convey their know-how to their colleagues in China. Seminar contents comprise school organisation and management, teaching methods and didactics, business related subjects and excursions to hotels, restaurants, resorts and regions.

Partners of the project are the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, the City of Vienna and the Chinese Ministry of Education. On 11 February this year the contract was officially signed at the Vienna Chamber of Commerce.
